He completed his acting training in 1999 at the Hiva Film Institute and in the same year was selected to act in The Passion of Love, directed by Nader Moghaddas. For his fourth acting role in the film Swan Song, Radan was nominated for the Best Actor Award at the 5th House of Cinema Celebration. He later won two Crystal Simorgh awards for Best Actor for his performances in Candle in the Wind and Santouri.
